FOXBORO — A handful of the Patriots’ prime gamers are usually not in uniform forward of Friday’s preseason opener towards the Commanders.

Right here’s the total checklist of probably inactives: CB Christian Gonzalez, OLB Harold Landry, CB Carlton Davis, WR Stefon Diggs, OLB Ok’Lavon Chaisson, LB Jahlani Tavai, OT Vederian Lowe, G Sidy Sow, OT Caedan Wallace, OT Morgan Moses, WR Kendrick Bourne and DT Christian Barmore.

There aren’t any main surprises on that checklist. The Patriots have taken it simple on Landry, Davis, Tavai, Moses and Barmore in coaching camp. Gonzalez, Chaisson, Sow, Wallace and Bourne have gotten banged up since coaching camp started. Tavai and Lowe started the summer time on the PUP checklist.

The Commanders will maintain out 30 gamers in Friday’s preseason opener, together with most of their starters and former Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones and defensive finish Deatrich Sensible.

Listed below are the 30 gamers — nearly all starters — not taking part in within the Commanders’ first preseason sport towards the Patriots tonight. pic.twitter.com/zodktAL8ZC
