Ryan Sheehy has been named the interim head coach for Methuen/Tewksbury ladies ice hockey, Methuen athletic director Thomas Ryan informed the Herald.
Along with being an assistant coach for the workforce, Sheehy has served as a USA Hockey official, and was a former standout athlete at Lowell Excessive Faculty.
Sheehy replaces former Crimson Rangers coach Dave O’Hearn, who handed away this previous summer time after a brave battle with pancreatic most cancers. O’Hearn had served as this system’s head coach since 2022, and led the workforce to a Div. 1 Ultimate 4 look in March. O’Hearn was additionally an assistant coach throughout its championship-winning season in 2018-19.
