    Mike Vrabel takes blame for Patriots’ failed fake punt vs. Ravens

    FOXBORO — Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel took accountability for a failed pretend punt in Sunday night’s win over the Ravens.

    Trailing 17-13 with two minutes left within the third quarter, Vrabel known as a pretend punt go from punt protector Marte Mapu on fourth-and-10. However attempt to give it an opportunity. It definitely wasn’t designed to run. And he simply felt prefer it wasn’t there. And he decided. So I decided to attempt the play. I’ll make different calls and good ones, and there’ll be unhealthy ones, as nicely. So, simply felt like we would have liked one thing there, and it didn’t go our method.
