    Johan Oviedo looks to bounce back, top prospect starting

    FORT MYERS, Fla. — Johan Oviedo will probably be again on the bump Monday making his second begin in a Purple Sox uniform, and he will probably be backed up by one of many membership’s premier younger abilities.

    As introduced by Alex Cora over the weekend, high Purple Sox hitting prospect Franklin Arias will begin at shortstop when the membership treks as much as Dunedin to face the Toronto Blue Jays. The 20-year-old infielder is at the moment ranked because the No. 49 prospect in MLB by Baseball America and is the No. 2 prospect within the Purple Sox group after Payton Tolle.

    Oviedo and Arias spotlight a touring roster that’s primarily composed of gamers prone to begin the season within the minors. Nick Sogard will bat second and begin at first base, and along with Arias, two different prospects of word who’re making the journey are outfielder Justin Gonzales (Boston’s No. 7 prospect) and infielder Yoeilin Cespedes (No. 17).

    As soon as Oviedo’s day is completed, Ryan Watson, Kyle Keller, Seth Martinez and Jeremy Wu-Yelland are scheduled to pitch for Boston.
