Red Sox become first team since 1901 to record this feat

The Boston Pink Sox’ listless lineup made historical past for all the improper causes on Wednesday afternoon.

Throughout Boston’s eventual 7-5 loss to the Rays, the highest of the Pink Sox lineup had few solutions for Tampa starter Drew Rasmussen, with Jarren Duran, Ceddanne Rafaela, and Wilyer Abreu going 0-for-9 with 9 strikeouts towards the righty.​

Although Rafaela ultimately slugged a three-run house run within the eighth inning to drag Boston again into the sport, it was all for naught — because the Pink Sox’s banged-up bullpen faltered once more en path to a collection sweep by the hands of Tampa.​

Boston now sits 12 video games underneath .500 with a file of 27-39, with a horrid lineup standing close to the highest of the Pink Sox’ points up to now this season.

To date this season, the Pink Sox rank final in MLB in house runs (52), twenty ninth in runs scored (258), and twenty seventh in slugging share (.376).
