    Within the Cape Ann League, Brendan Loewen recorded 18 factors and Jomar Terrero added 17 factors to tempo Georgetown to a 69-64 victory over Hamilton-Wenham.

    Ladies basketball

    In a nonleague contest, Leila Kennedy paced issues with 16 factors, whereas Bella Nicoli scored eight of her 11 factors in further time as Cardinal Spellman defeated Calvary Chapel in double time beyond regulation, 52-46. … Avery Terry led all scorers with 16 factors whereas Norah Cataldo added 13 factors and Maura Quirk snagged 13 rebounds to carry Acton-Boxboro previous Algonquin, 51-24. … Anna Kanders scored 20 factors with six assists whereas Sam Ward and Lila Giard added 15 factors apiece as Swampscott defeated Lynn Tech, 67-27.

    Within the Patriot League, Haley Ray registered a team-high 16 factors, as Hanover overcame a 12-point first half deficit for a 47-43 win over rival Quincy.

    Ladies hockey

    Molly Boyden sniped 4 targets, whereas Julia O’Neil dished out three assists as Central Catholic (6-5-2) defeated MVC/DCL (Small) foe Shawsheen/Bedford/Lowell, 5-3.
