One of the crucial thrilling pitching matchups of the Pink Sox season will begin at Fenway Saturday night when All-Star left-handers Clayton Kershaw and Garrett Crochet sq. off within the second of this three-game sequence.
Kershaw, 37, owns a 3.27 ERA over 11 begins in his 18th season with the Dodgers. Crochet, 26 as of June 21, enters Saturday with a 2.19 ERA and American League-best 189 ERA+ over 21 begins, an AL-leading 135.1 innings pitched, and essentially the most strikeouts in Main League Baseball (165).
