    Adrianna Porazzo poured in 36 factors to energy Foxboro to a 68-36 Hockomock League win over Stoughton.     Shauna O’Brien (21 factors, 4 rebounds) and Sara Graves (13 factors, three steals, 4 rebounds) completed in double figures for Pingree in a 51-30 NEPSAC win over Lexington Christian.

    Freshman Alyssa Daniels knocked down 30 factors, whereas Julia Mello added 11 factors as Dighton-Rehoboth topped West Bridgewater 67-46 within the South Coast Convention.

    Ally Johnson and Sara Michel scored 15 factors every as Blue Hills (12-5) beat Bristol-Plymouth 30-21 within the Mayflower Athletic Convention.

    Boys hockey

    Ryan Elrick netted a hat trick for Canton in an 8-0 Hockomock League victory over Mansfield.

    Women hockey

    Sarah DiCenso scored a hat trick and dished two assists, whereas Olivia Polles potted two objectives as Pingree beat Winsor 8-0 in NEPSAC motion.

    SWIMMING AND DIVING

    Harmony-Carlisle leads the Div. 2 North ladies’ sectionals after the opening day with a rating of 279. The Patriots had a number of first-place finishes, together with Bea Turretini within the 200 free and 500 free, Audrey Herz within the one meter dive and the 400 free relay group. Weston completed second with 250 factors whereas Marblehead and Wayland tied for third with 216 factors.

    Dover-Sherborn at present leads the Div. 2 South ladies’ sectionals after the opening day with a rating of 235. First place finishes for the Raiders included Raina Wu within the 100 free and the 200 free relay group. Seekonk sits in second place with a rating of 194 whereas Bishop Feehan is in third with 149 factors.

    GIRLS TRACK

    Central Catholic received the Merrimack Valley Convention group championship with 131 factors. First place finishers embody Arianna DiPietro within the 55m hurdles and excessive bounce, Avery Strickler within the 300m and lengthy bounce, Kyla Breslin within the mile run, and the 4×400 relay group. Billerica completed second with 91 factors.

    Soccer

    Canton appointed Jeff Eckler as its head soccer coach. A 1991 Canton graduate, Eckler was a captain throughout his enjoying days and has been a member of the Bulldogs teaching workers for 30 years.
