DALLAS (AP) — A basketball card autographed by Corridor of Famers Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant has bought for practically $13 million at public sale, a document for any sports activities card.
Heritage Auctions mentioned there have been 82 bids for the 2007-08 Higher Deck Logoman assortment card earlier than it bought Sunday for $12,932,000. That surpassed the $12.6 million paid for a 1952 Topps rookie card of baseball Corridor of Famer Mickey Mantle at a Heritage public sale in 2022.
The memorabilia firm didn’t reveal the customer.
The one card of its kind, the Jordan-Bryant card options licensed autographs of each gamers together with NBA patches from their game-worn uniforms.
The earlier document for a basketball card was the non-public sale of a Stephen Curry 2009 Panini card for $5.9 million. The highest mark at public sale was somewhat greater than $3.1 million for Luka Doncic’s 2018 Panini rookie card.
