LOS ANGELES (AP) — Shohei Ohtani is including writer to his record of accomplishments. The Los Angeles Dodgers two-way celebrity has co-written a kids’s e-book starring his beloved canine, Decoy.
Ohtani posted a photograph of Decoy, a Dutch Kooikerhondje, sitting subsequent to the e-book on his Instagram account on Thursday. The duvet of “Decoy Saves Opening Day” encompasses a drawing of the pup with a ball in his mouth and Ohtani in his baseball jersey.
It tells the story of how Decoy is meant to throw the primary pitch on opening day however realizes he left his fortunate baseball at residence and scrambles to retrieve it in time.
The e-book shall be launched on Feb. 3, in accordance with writer HarperCollins.
