    Alex Bregman gets day off in finale against Marlins

    Alex Bregman just isn’t within the lineup for Sunday’s sequence finale towards the Miami Marlins, however Crimson Sox supervisor Alex Cora mentioned the All-Star third baseman is simply getting a routine time without work.

    With Bregman coming off the bench, Abraham Toro will get the beginning at third base, and Trevor Story will bump up within the lineup to take over Bregman’s normal No. 2 spot.

    The remainder of Boston’s lineup is basically the identical as regular, with Roman Anthony main off, Jarren Duran batting third and Masataka Yoshida batting cleanup.

    Garrett Crochet (13-5, 2.48) is ready to take the mound towards Miami’s Janson Junk (6-2, 4.06). The Crimson Sox ace is coming off a uncommon dangerous outing during which he allowed 5 earned runs in 4 innings towards the Houston Astros.
