    Junior captain Ben Clarkin registered a double-double with 18 factors and 14 rebounds, including 5 blocks as Lincoln-Sudbury (1-0) opened its season with a 58-50 boys basketball victory over nonleague foe Doherty.

    Women basketball

    In nonleague motion, Cailey Kelleher netted 19 and Liv Panaro added 10 as Rockland (1-0) rolled over Calvary Chapel 49-24.

    Boys hockey

    Evan Toto had two tallies and Matthew Boyer had the shutout as St. Mary’s of Lynn (1-0) toppled Shrewsbury 5-0 in nonleague play.

    Women hockey

    Shae Martin had a hat trick as Duxbury (1-0) rolled over Patriot League opponent Quincy/North Quincy 7-1.
