    New 1st baseman won’t make team debut Monday

    Nathaniel Lowe formally grew to become a member of the Purple Sox Monday, however his debut should wait one other day.

    With left-hander Trevor Rogers on the mound for the visiting Baltimore Orioles, Lowe isn’t within the Purple Sox beginning lineup for the collection opener.

    Neither is Roman Anthony batting leadoff. As an alternative, Nate Eaton, recalled Monday from Triple-A, will function each leadoff and designated hitter. Anthony will bat second, Alex Bregman third.
