    Patriots re-sign backup quarterback on two-year contract

    Patriots quarterback Tommy DeVito is sticking round.

    The Patriots re-signed DeVito on a two-year deal value $7.4 million with $2 million assured, his agent, Sean Stellato, first instructed ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

    DeVito was set to turn out to be a restricted free agent. Tendering him would have value the Patriots $3.52 million.

    DeVito, 27, was claimed off waivers from the Giants earlier than the 2025 season and served because the Patriots’ third-string quarterback all season.
