    Patriots receive positive news in final practice before season finale

    FOXBORO — A defensive starter returned to follow Friday for the Patriots.

    Linebacker Robert Spillane (ankle), who hasn’t played because the starting of the month earlier than the Patriots had their Week 14 bye, retook the follow area Friday.
