    TORONTO (AP) — Carlos Narváez hit a two-run double within the sixth inning, Nathaniel Lowe had two RBI singles and the Boston Crimson Sox beat the AL-leading Toronto Blue Jays 4-1 on Tuesday night time.

    The slumping Blue Jays had simply three hits and misplaced for the fifth time in six video games. Toronto started the day with a two-game lead over the Yankees within the AL East. New York closed to inside a recreation after rallying to beat the White Sox 3-2.

    Masataka Yoshida had two hits and scored a run because the Crimson Sox improved to 40-39 on the street.

    Narváez chased Toronto right-hander Kevin Gausman with a two-out hit within the sixth that put the Crimson Sox up 4-1.

    Gausman (10-11) allowed 4 runs and 9 hits in 5 2/3 innings. He walked one and struck out seven.

    Boston’s Lucas Giolito allowed one run and three hits in 4 2/3 innings, failing to complete 5 innings for the second straight begin. Giolito walked 4 and struck out three.

    Toronto’s George Springer thought he’d hit a two-run double within the second however third base umpire Scott Barry referred to as Springer’s floor ball foul. On the following pitch, an irate Springer was referred to as out trying to finish the inning.

    Boston is 31-19 towards the AL East and has received 23 of its previous 32 towards division foes.

    Crimson Sox LHP Garrett Crochet (17-5, 2.69 ERA) is scheduled to begin Wednesday towards Blue Jays RHP Max Scherzer (5-4, 5.06 ERA).
