    Longtime Red Sox broadcaster and Baseball Corridor of Fame honoree Joe Castiglione says he’s feeling effectively after being handled for most cancers, and he plans to return to the radio sales space to name a handful of video games this season.

    Castiglione, who turned 79 in March, stated in a phone dialog Sunday evening that he had surgical procedure for sarcoma in his proper leg on Oct. 1. His therapy included radiation, he stated.

    “The whole lot is ok now,” stated Castiglione. “I simply had scans they usually’re clear, so so far as I do know, I’m cancer-free. The whole lot is sweet.”

    Castiglione, who was the 2024 recipient of the Ford C. Frick Award, introduced yearly to a broadcaster who has made “main contributions to baseball,” retired that same year after 42 seasons because the Crimson Sox’ radio play-by-play voice.
