    The Shawsheen Tech wrestling workforce dominated the Division 1 North Sectional subject Saturday in Methuen, rolling to the title with 258.5 factors.

    Inserting first for the Rams have been Dante Giusti (126 kilos), James Tildsley (157) and Logan Holmes (190). Ethan Caceres (120) and Hadi Sibay (138) got here in second place. Inserting third have been Tristan Lane (165), Thomas Conn (113), Kyle Dube (10 6) and Gavin Lane (132).

    Headlined by first-place titles from Dylan Walker (120), Samson Xayachack (150) and Jaden Merwin, Tyngsboro/Dracut edged Gloucester for the Division 3 North Sectional title.

    Camry Williams netted 18 factors and Haleigh Adamowich backed her with 14 as Woburn (19-0) narrowly defeated Braintree, 51-50, within the opening spherical of the Board 27 Comcast Match. … Bishop Feehan and Wachusett, who’ve battled within the Division 1 state closing the final two years, additionally collided within the match and the Mountaineers got here away with a convincing 67-39 win behind 33 factors from Jae Scott.

    In nonleague motion, Keyona Raines collected 24 factors, 11 boards and 6 assists as Cathedral took down Walpole, 58-41. …  Addie Holmes-Lavallee (21 factors) and McKenna Devamney (20 factors) led the way in which as Central Catholic (8-11) routed Burlington, 70-34.
